Fern Tree Jungle

The Big Island is an island of natural wonder and diversity. Part of Volcano National Park near the Halema'uma'u Crater is huge fern tree jungles. I was surprised to see a scenery which is totally different from the one which we saw from the air when we flew into Kona International Airport. It was true what Carolyn wrote to me about the island. Part of tropical flora is hidden in the back of the island! The Big Island has everything from the volcano to black sand beaches, tropical forests, rich agricultural fields, and ranch lands.
