I traveled to the Hawaiian Islands with my friends and stayed on the three islands from July 2 to July 8. We first flew into Kona International Airport. The first photo is an aerial view of the west coast of Hawaii Island near the airport. It looks like land of the moon. The airport is situated in an area covered with lava. Hawaii Island is well known for its active Kilauea Volcano. At the airport, we were welcomed by the bronze statues of hula dancers. I got excited because I had thought that I would not ever travel abroad again. I like to travel, but was told that I had better not go abroad after having heart troubles over the past two years.
