I took twenty or thirty pictures of lion dance performances on the day and the next day of our local festival last month. This is the photo that I titled "The Next Bang." The drummer, who is ready for the next bang, is carefully watching the performance. He is about to beat the gong with his drumstick. A moment later the big sound of bang went through the shrine precinct. It was one of the high points of the performance.
How I would love to hear the sound of the "bang!" It must be incredible! This is a beautiful capture...
