Closeup-shot Roses

Yesterday on my way to visit my 92-year-old mother in the nursing home in Kagoshima, I stopped at a rose garden in Minamata City. There are about 5000 roses of 600 kinds in a 13,000- square-meter garden. I was there for about two hours shooting, but it was not easy for me to photograph flowers. These two are the ones that I think came out better than others.

  1. Those are really pretty roses. The 2nd photo looks like red velvet. I like the red and white variety too. I think the dark green leaves against the light green blurred background is stunning. These are very nice captures!
