These pictures were also taken on my last hiking day. The pasqueflowers in the first picture are designated as endangered species. The holes in the second picture are the traces of pasqueflowers illegally dug-up and stolen by someone. Holes like this are found everywhere in the field at the foot of Mt. Nekodake. I photographed these pictures in order to record the dramatic decrease of the pasqueflowers in the Aso area over the past few years.
