The day before yesterday, I went to Takeda City, Ooita Prefecture. These photos were taken at Nanatsu-mori Kofun Gun, which is well-known for cluster amaryllis at this time of year. The ground around the ancient burial mounds was carpeted with about 200,000 cluster amaryllis. There were red amaryllis as far as the eye could see. The second photo was developed from a raw image.
There is a difference with the raw format. I have been using it for a few months now. It does take more time to convert, etc., and it does take up lots of space on the card, computer and external hard-drive. These flower fields are gorgeous...how I would LOVE to be there too!
