Trains in A Tunnel Frame

Today I went to take pictures of the Steam Locomotive Hitoyoshigo in Sakamoto Town in Yatsushiro for the first time in two months. I photographed the black Hitoyosigo and the red limited express at the tunnel inlet because I wanted to capture them in the arch-shaped tunnel shade and use the tunnel inlet as a picture frame. But I wonder why the rails in the pictures look crooked!!

  1. Because the "crooked" part of the rails are inside the tunnel, I think the light reflections are striking them at a different angle thus illuminating them on the right. Outside the tunnel they are more evenly illuminated. That's my thinking anyway. What gorgeous trains so beautifully framed. I hope you were NOT in a dangerous place. You even captured some nice black smoke from Hitoyoshigo! Wonderful...I bet you had a big smile on your face!
