A Big Citrus Fruit and MY Granddaughter

This is a picture of my granddaughter which my son sent me last month. He photographed her with a big citrus fruit called "Banpeiyu" which I sent him as one of the New Year's gifts. "Bampeiyu" is a thick rinded citrus fruit which grows only in our area. The largest one measures nearly 30 centimeters in diameter and weighs about 2 kilograms. It is recorded in the Guinnes Book of World Record as the largest citrus fruit.

She is still small but she has grown twice as heavy as when she was born.

  1. I remember that citrus fruit from my last visit! What a unique comparison and little Rika is growing...What a beauty she is!

To answer your question about the lens I used on the Snowy Egret photos...just a 55-250mm (Canon). I also have a 17-55mm, a 60mm and I just ordered a 50mm. The 50 is supposed to be very excellent in low light...I am really looking forward to trying it out!

    Have a wonderful weekend!
