Last Saturday I enjoyed hiking in the Amakusa Islands with my friends. We enjoyed a wonderful view from the top of Mt. Ryugadake, which is 470m high above sea level. But unfortunately it was cloudy that day, so I was not able to capture beautiful scenes with my camera. The first photo is an old cedar tree, which is believed to be hundreds of years old. Interestingly it is enshrined as the god of Mt. Ryugadake. You can see the Japanese word inscribed as "God of Mountain" on the little shrine in the first photo.
