For the First Time in 26 Years

Yesterday our area was covered with heavy snow. There was snow as far as the eye could see. In the first photo, I photographed stepping stones to the gate in my garden. After photographing around my house, I went out to photograph snow scenes in our area. These were taken in a Shinto shrine in my neighborhood. I like the contrast of red, white, and dark brown colors. In the close-up photo, I photographed "omikuji" or paper fortune tied on a twig of the tree in front of the hall of worship. It was a very cold day.
