Many tidal flats appear at low tide near the mouth of the river which runs through our city, many tidal flats appear at low tide. Yesterday morning I spotted a flock of seabirds on one of the tidal flats when driving along the river. I stopped the car and photographed them with my 18-200mm zoom lens. But unfortunately they are far from me. I really wanted a super-telephoto zoom lens to take their close-up pictures. These are the edited ones.
These are still beautiful shots despite wishing for a more powerful lens. I, too, wished the same today. We were at a grove where monarch butterflies have migrated for the winter. Some were clustered very high in the trees. I really wished I had a bigger lens!
