A Colorful Japanese Wax Tree

In the city where I live, is the ruins of an old castle from the Yedo Period. Yesterday while I was driving near the site, I spotted an eye-catching colored tree on the edge of the stone wall. I pulled to the side of the road and I photographed it over the moat. It was a Japanese wax tree. Its leaves of red, yellow, and green were stunningly beautiful in the sunlight.

  1. Those are the same walls that photographed so beautifully with the cherry blossoms! Now the fall colors adorn them! What beautiful seasonal color you have there!
