Today, again, I posted the pictures of dancers in yukata from the summer festival in our city which was held on August 8. On that night about 5000 people joined the dance representing their own working places. The groups competed against one another to get prizes which are given to good dancing groups. Usually dancers do not compete in a bon dance like the one which I posted yesterday. At this time of year dancers in the summer festivals are good subjects of shooting as well as waterfalls and water flows in gorges.

This reminds me of the night we saw this festival with you 3 years ago. I really like the nighttime images you got. The color is great! I definitely need to work on this kind of lighting. And...yes, I know...use a tripod!
