A Butterfly and A Wild Flower

This is another picture of a wild flower that I took on my way to the top of Mt. Mansaka the day before yesterday. Luckily, a beautiful butterfly perched on the flower that I was shooting.I tried to bring the eye of the butterfly into sharper focus and defocus its background so that I could emphasize the beauty of the butterfly.

The color of the butterfly was gorgeous. Its name is "benishijimi" in Japanese. Unfortunately, I don't know its English name. And I hear that the flower, which we call "himejion", is originally from North America, too. It is commonly seen here at this time of year. I wonder what Americans call them in North America?
