Today I visited a Buddhist temple in our city which is well-known for its cherry blossoms called "shidare-zakura." This sakura is a different kind from a sakura which are commonly seen almost everywhere all over Japan at this time of year. I was so moved to see it that I photographed it from various angles trying to capture its beauty, but I wonder whether I could capture its breathtaking beauty or not. A man wearing a light brown kimono in the third photo is the head priest of this temple.
I am Japanese and live in Kumamoto, Japan.
Taking pictures is one of my pastimes. I would like to post one or two pictures on an irregular base in the hope that there may be someone who appreciates them. And another reason why I started my blog is to ward off senile dementia by practicing writing English.
wish I was there! SO BEAUTIFUL!
