It has been warm for the past three days. But it was freezing cold before that. The first picture was taken in my neighborhood on the early moring of February 2. The weed was covered with frost. They looked like candies coated with coarse sugar. I took the second photo the next day, which was the first day of spring in the lunar calendar. It was so warm that people in this house were airing out their futons or Japanese-style beddings on the roof. In Kyushu, Japan, spring is just around the corner. 
The "weed" does look sugar coated...very pretty. I like seeing the Japanese way of doing household tasks...a roof serves many purposes in your country. This image really caught my attention! Great one!
