On an approach to the
Shinto Shrine I visited on January first, I spotted a
takoyaki stall, which is often seen on festival days or on a day when there is an occasion like the New Year's.
Takoyaki is a snack with octopus in it and is very popular in Osaka area. I bought a pack of
takoyaki because the stall curtain said that the
takoyaki was directly from Osaka. While I was waiting for it coming up, I took a couple of pictures of
takoyaki. The cooks were moving their tools very skillfully in the steam coming from the hot
takoyaki cooker.
These are really great photos! The composition is excellent...right on the target!
