The day before yesterday, I went to the port in our city where ferries to and from Amakusa arrive and depart because I thought that a beautiful sunset would appear. After photographing the setting sun, I saw the last ferry coming into the port. Following the sunset, I expected to shoot a so-called blue moment, which never appeared, so I photographed just the ferry instead.
Wow, beautiful sky...but, I see some blue in the sky in the second photo. I need to do some reading on the "blue moment." I think it appears looking away from the sun. I have always heard it called the "blue hour" following sunset.
返信削除Sometimes we see the "green" flash in Hawaii just as the last sliver of sun descends below the horizon. But, there can't be any clouds. It has to be a clear sky to be seen.
I don't have much luck seeing it because it happens so fast and for such a short amount of time. I must blink and miss it!
okay...I did some reading and it seems the blue moment occurs in the direction of the sunset above the colors of the setting sun...
