After the Black Sand Beach, we visited the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory and Jaggar Museum, which sit on the rim of Kilauea Caldera. But we were not able to see a clear view of Halema'uma'u Crater where the goddess dwells. It was drizzling when we arrived there. I was disapponted, but, instead I enjoyed the many exhibits that explain the history and behavior of Hawaiian volcanoes in the museum.
We have stood at that view so many times at different times of the day and weather conditions, as well. We have seen the perfect view and the NOT so perfect view...but, any view is amazing. It's exceptionally awesome in the light of the sunset.
