Here in Japan we are now in the middle of the rainy season. But it doesn't rain all the time in the rainy season. Today's weather was a mixture of sunny spells and heavy showers. When I looked outside, I noticed some pinkish little flowers in my garden which was being overrun with weeds. They are spiranthes sinensises, whose flowers bloom on the helicoidally-shaped stem. They were so adorable that I couldn't stop photographing one of them with my macro lens.
