Today I visited an iris garden in Amakusa, where an "Iris Festival was being held . As I wrote in my earlier posts, it is the time for viewing irises here in Japan. The irises planted on the former stepped paddies were in full bloom and dancers from the local high school performed wonderful haiya dance for the visitors and shutterbugs who visited the garden. I really enjoyed both the irises and the dance.
Now, this is a scene I would be so excited to see! This is so beautiful!
