These are the pictures of flowers which I saw in my neighborhood today. I was impressed with the little red flower grown in the slit between the concrete wall and the asphalt road. How strong! I also got interested in the white flower, because I found that its English name is "Love in Mist." How romantic!
The white flowers are so unusual. I don't think I have seen them before. What a wonderful name they must have in Japanese. And, isn't it amazing how a beautiful flower will grow between slits in concrete or rocks, but, yet, be stubborn about growing with tender loving care in a nice flower bed at home. I always wonder about that. I guess that is why they are called "wild flowers!"
