While I was photographing plum blossoms, a wild bird perched on one of the plum tree twigs. Birds are now one of my favorite shooting subjects these days. Every time I see a wild bird these days, I somehow get excited.

- I am Japanese and live in Kumamoto, Japan. Taking pictures is one of my pastimes. I would like to post one or two pictures on an irregular base in the hope that there may be someone who appreciates them. And another reason why I started my blog is to ward off senile dementia by practicing writing English.
I like this. I, too, am fascinated with capturing photos of birds. I put out a bird feeder to, hopefully, attract gold finches to my yard. My friend has more birds than she can hardly feed these days. But, so far, they haven't discovered my feeder. I will continue to wait in patience. It might be that we are in our backyard so much...we'll see what happens. I might wind up giving the food to my friend for her birds.
