These are pictures of fallen gingko leaves on the approach to an old temple where I stopped by on my way from the hiking day last week. I photographed the first one with my Canon Eos Kiss X2 and the second one with my Fuji FinePix F100fd. They were so beautiful that the next day I visited the temple again in order to photograph them with my Canon 5D MarkⅡ. But there were no leaves left because a priest of the temple had already cleaned them out. Opportunity only knocks once!!

  1. Ahhh...so beautiful! I am so sorry they were gone when you returned. You are right...about opportunity knocking only once! That is so often the case. I, sometimes wonder why people rake up leaves so quickly. They are such a work of colorful art.
