Gingko Trees in "Home of Stone Masons"

One of our neighboring towns is called "Home of Stone Masons" because it produced a lot of great stone masons during the Yedo Period. There are many old stone bridges in the town. This bridge, which is the biggest of all the bridges there and is designated as one of the town's cultural properties, was built in 1869 by Kangoro Hashimoto, the master stone mason. The color of the ginkgo trees by the bridge was stunningly beautiful against the old mossy bridge.

  1. This bridge and amber yellow tree is spectacular! I really like the textures of the bridge. The colors are so rich...I like this a lot.
