I took these photos to practice shooting with a super-telephoto lens which I bought the other day. At the mouth of a river I found a heron and waited for the moment that it would catch a little fish. But, unfortunately, the moment didn't come, though I waited for more than half an hour. It just stood still like a ninjya who was hiding or in disguise among the reed bed. I would like to go and shoot water birds again on a clear fine day.
and...which lens did you get? I'd say you learned quickly because these are fabulous shots! I, especially, like the first photo because of the gorgeous heron in the reeds. Wow! That is breathtaking!
