Tsujunkyo Bridge

Built in 1854, this bridge is the largest stone-arch aqueduct bridge in Japan. It is situated in YamatoTown in Kumamoto prefecture. Center ducts on the sides of the bridge can be opened to flush out the sand and debris that collect inside from time to time. The cascade of water that gushes out from the ducts is splendid.
