These pictures were taken at Hitoyoshi Station, where Hitoyoshi-go, Steam Locomotive, makes right about turn in order to go back to Kumamoto Station. There were a lot of steam locomotive fans there. One of them happened to be a tourist from the United Kingdom. Surprisingly he told me that he belongs to a Japanese Steam Locomotive Club in his country and was on a tour traveling around Japan with its 20 members to see steam locomotives in Japan!!
Very interesting sight! I'd like to know about the rest of the cars on that train...where are they? Do they turn each car one by one? Great post...
返信削除This is a beautiful old steam locomotive. It's very much like the one that pulled the train car that I rode in this weekend. I posted a picture of it and Carolyn Ford suggested that I look at your pictures. I'm glad that I did.
