These photos were taken in Yamaga Lantern Festival which is one of the summer festivals in Kumamoto prefecture. Dancers, who are dressed in cotton summer kimono and bearing lighted gold and silver lanterns on their heads, dance around the streets in Yamaga city on the evening of August 16.
