These are the photos taken by one of my email friends who lives near the disaster-affected area in Northern Japan. He photographed them in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture where an 80-year-old woman and a 16-year old boy were rescued form a demolished house on March 20. I posted them on my blog so that more people in other countries know the damage caused by the massive earthquake and devastating tsunami.
