Railroad Walking

On May 15, I participated in one of the so-called Japan Railway Walks held near Shin-Tosu Station for Kyushu-Shinkansen Bullet Train which is scheduled to open from Shin-Yatsushiro to Hakata next March. Actually I was not interested in walking but rather in taking pictures on the railroad. When I arrived at the site, I was surprised to see a great number of people waiting for their turn to walk. Walkers needed to wear a helmet provided by the railway company. The problem was that only 400 helmets were available. I had to wait for my turn for about an hour and a half. I became exhausted from waiting and walking, but I enjoyed taking a lot of pictures.
