An Air Raid?

This picture was taken in Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture late this afternoon. While returning from shooting the steam locomotive in the Sakamoto area, I saw this huge black smoke rising from the center of the city. It was from a fire at a chemical factory, but it looked like an air raid or a huge bomb explosion. You can see how huge the smoke was, compared to the three tall chimneys of a large paper factory near the railroad station.
