Todays's photos are again from the light festival in Yamaga City which I posted the day before yesterday. Those are dolls or doll in the bamboo lantern displayed along the part of the street where the festival was held. When I took the second picture, I asked a friend of mine to brighten the left side of the bamboo lantern dimly with a little flash light. These dolls reminded me of The Tale of The Bamboo Cutter or The Tale of Princess Kaguya, which is one of the well-known Japanese folklores. Such intricate detail! Very beautiful! The opening of the lantern creates such a unique photo too.
