These photos were taken in Ryokusenkyo in Yamato Town last week. Ryokusenkyo is one of the valleys which are well-known for their colored fall leaves. Ayunose-Big Bridge in the first photo, which spans the valley, is 1280 feet long and 140 460 feet high. When I visited there, the color of the leaves were not beautiful enough to look at. But the leaves of the Japanese maple tree, which I found at the foot of the bridge, was beautifully colored. I photographed them with a telephotographic lens, carefully choosing the background which I thought brings out the colores of the leaves. 2009年11月16日月曜日

What a beautiful bridge that is! And, your maple leaves are exquisite! You found the perfect background to compliment them.
