These are the black swans which are kept in the moat of the Remains of Yatsushiro Castle. On the day when I visited there, one black swan, which seemed to be a male, suddenly began to chase the other swan with his head low. Then the other swan, which is probably a female, looked very surprised and started to swim away from him flapping her wings very hard. However they did not look like they were fighting. I wonder this might be the mating season because they are from Australia which is in spring now.
